Week 1 of the Northwest Pistol Association league at Champion Arms is tonight at 7 pm. Sorry for the late notice!

The weekly league fee of $7 covers range fees, cost of awards, randomly drawn prizes, and food for the banquet at the end of the 8- week league. The league will run for 8 weeks. You must participate in at least 6 of the 8 weeks to qualify for prizes and awards. Your top 6 scores will count, so if you participate all 8 weeks we'll drop your lowest 2 scores. If you have to miss a week, you can shoot a make-up after the regular match the following week. There will be no refunds.

Please forward this email to anyone you know who might want to join the league. New shooters are always welcome, and can simply show up on any league night to sign up. This is a fun league designed to help you improve your shooting skills. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

What you need to compete:
- 18 and older: Handgun of .380 caliber or larger (smaller calibers are welcome for noncompetitive fun)
- 17 and under: To encourage younger shooters, handguns of any caliber will be recognized.
- 48 rounds of ammunition
- One extra magazine or speed loader
- Safety check by NWPA Range Officer

Steve, the owner of Champion Arms, has asked that league shooters use the parking lot immediately north of the store (a real estate office?), or the one on the other side of the brick building on the south side of the range (the Pile King) to alleviate some of the parking lot congestion. Our strong league turnout is filling up the range parking lot, and not leaving any room for other customers. Since Steve's supporting the league with a discounted range fee, let's help him out by freeing up some space in the parking lot. Thanks! I drew the bottom green square too low on the photo below. The Pile King parking lot is just up from the bottom green square.
