Сократил расстояние between strikes, now only 50, диагональный спред. На этой неделе всё же думаю закрыть. что следующее?

Чтоб не открывать новую тему, пишу здесь про Амазон. Амазон - household name. Но не сток поскольку номинально очень дорогой. И теперь сбылась мечта всех нищебродов компания планирует сплит 20:1.

Открывать новую позицию если кто не держит его уже, не знаю, только если Buy stock - sell call option. Or create a call spread.
Держу 4-ступенчатую bullish position. Out-of-money diagonal June - April call spread and a credit put spread истекающий через три недели. Специалисты обычно советуют закрывать позицию при резком скачке в нужном направлении. Причина - резкое увеличение options premiums которое длится недолго. Амазон options не всегда легко торговать, слишком большое расстояние between bid - ask quotes.

Amazon.com AMZN, +0.35% announced a 20:1 stock split March 9. As of March 29, the stock was up 21.5%, compared to 10.3% for Nasdaq and 8.3% for the S&P 500. The split will be effective June 3.

* Alphabet GOOG, +0.75% announced a 20:1 stock split Feb. 1. Its stock is up 8.3% compared to 3.5% for Nasdaq and 1.9% for the S&P 500. The spit will take effect July 15.

These are not just freak examples — and the effect lasts much longer than a few weeks. Since 1980, the shares of companies that do stock splits are typically up 25% a year later, compared to 9% for the broader market, according to a recent study by Bank of America. They also outperform three and six months out, as you can see in this chart.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG – Get Rating) –
Equities research analysts at KeyCorp boosted their Q1 2022 earnings per share estimates for shares of Alphabet in a report released on Tuesday, April 19th. KeyCorp analyst J. Patterson now anticipates that the information services provider will post earnings per share of $24.17 for the quarter, up from their prior estimate of $22.90. KeyCorp also issued estimates for Alphabet’s Q2 2022 earnings at $24.71 EPS, Q3 2022 earnings at $27.13 EPS, Q4 2022 earnings at $38.16 EPS and FY2022 earnings at $114.09 EPS.

Репорт ожидается средненький. Поэтому открыть call credit spread утром в понедельник пока ещё есть возможность что то выжать.
шортать puts тоже рекомендуется, но с ними нужно быть осторожным ввиду общего падения цен. Удачи!
