Позвонил в technical support DSL провайдера ( Covad ). Мужик на другом конце провода объяснил, что мой аккаунт был выключен за, ни много ни мало, "multiple copyright violations". Включить не могут, пока я не поговорю с легальным отделом ( займусь завтра ).
Стал разбираться дальше. Нашел копию письма к провайдеру от Universal Studios. Цитирую избранные участки.

Использовался eMule c ip-фильтром против RIAA/MPAA ( не помогло ). Засудить меня, судя по Notice ID, не должны, а вот на интернет я могу попасть.
Сейчас думаю, форматировать винчестер или нет.
