A smartphone wholly developed by Russia's Yota Devices has been launched at a premier in Moscow.
The YotaPhone 2, which is the second generation of the double-display YotaPhone, is a great leap forward for lovers of hybrid devices. It features two full displays, one colored and one e-paper. The Russian iPhone alternative starts from 610 USD and will be available in European countries before the end of 2014.
The launch of the YotaPhone 2 comes just weeks after Russia announced plans to ban the Apple iPhone and iPad from the 1st of January 2015 as the result of a new law demanding that all cloud data storage that originates from Russia stays in the territory of Russia.
