Мне думается оружейной индустрии надо договориться и совместным фронтом отказать госорганам штатов вроде НЙ в поставке своей продукции. Хочется верить что к начавшемуся недавно бойкоту присоединится кто-либо из гигантов, таких как Смит, Глок, Спрингфильд или Ремингтон. Обнадеживает то, что производители реагируют на недружественный законодательный климат переводом заводов на юг, Магпул сливает Колорадо а Беретта думает оставить Марилэнд. Надо бить законодателей штатов рублем и голосами избирателей, и нет луьше угрозы чем угроза потери рабочих мест и налоговых сборов.

Bravo Company Manufacturing has decided to cancel its new contract with the Milwaukee Police Department. Very shortly after winning the prestigious and lucrative bid to replace Milwaukee’s aging patrol rifles, Paul Buffoni — owner of BCM and Bravo Company USA — informed Milwaukee Chief of Police Ed Flynn of the decision. Flynn testified in favor of a new “Assault Weapon” Ban before the U.S. Senate, and Mr. Buffoni has chosen not to do business with a man who would seek to limit private citizens’ access to those same weapons.

Understand exactly what happened: Buffoni would have made a lot of money and continued to build his company’s reputation with the Milwaukee contract. Instead, he’s chosen to side with those who are more concerned about our nation’s Second Amendment. I hope we all keep that sacrifice and dedication in mind when we make our buying choices over the coming months.

The bill filed Saturday by state Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, would require a three-day waiting period for the sale of any firearm and the sale of ammunition to anyone who has not completed anger management courses. The proposal would require ammo buyers to take the anger management courses every 10 years.

Мне вот что непонятно. Почему NRA, у которой есть время и деньги присылать мне спам по поводу их Wine Club, нет времени заняться координацией бойкота поставок в фашиствующие штаты. Мне кажется если NRA взялась бы за лоббирование компаний вроде Рюгера и Смита по поводу бойкота, под угрозой отказа в рекламе и негативного PR, глядишь дело бы пошло куда веселее.
