Современный лук?

Вот эти "лишние деталюшки", которые у меня остались после сборки. Одну полоску я перевернул, чтобы показать их с обоих сторон.
Есть проедположение, что это запасной комплект для "подставки" (как её правильно назвать?) под стрелу. Я обвёл красной чертой. Только резиновые трубки, боюсь, слишком велики в диаметре.

Почему эти? Не знаю. Понравились и недорогие. Накручиваются вместо обычных. Вес тот же.

Looks like it's a set of heat-shrinkable tubes and стекловолокно that goes under it. Spares for arrow holder as you mentioned.

Broadheads you bought are for practice, not saying that a cat can survive, but those are made for tuning your bow and saving your real broadheads aka http://shop.eaglearchery.com/browse.cfm ... ,7942.html

99% chance you will have to retune your bow so your fixed broadheads will hit same holes with target points, they fly differently, usually.
it can be done by having correct spine on arrows, moving your rest, moving your nock, etc...
for lazy people, myself included, there are mechanical broadheads, easier to get to the same point of impact. using G5 T3 with success since they came on market after tekkans (2 blades)

Ёлки, палки! А я ещё удивился, когда заказывал почему "practice", да и туповатые они. Мне приятель показывал свою, тк та действительно заточена как бритва - не прикоснёшься, а эту можно споконо в руках вертеть.

G5 had a promo last year, they've sent a free broadhead to try (striker), so it was shipped with band-aid. "just in case" (:-).

band-aid as "bandage", лейкопластырь, it was so sharp, any touch and you need to stop blood.

both 09. 45-60lb
jaguar and saber, I believe. camo.
both have QAD hunter rests. one has sight , movable single pin, quiver, and handheld release. pm if interested

I saw a few bodybuilders with tail between their legs leaving archery shop (:-)

Store owner custom ordered 100lb bow, shot and killed a doe.
Put on the wall and put a sign: Who can pull that bow can take it.
i'm sure it's still there.

So go ahead and try at least 100lb. if you can i will respect you.
if you pull 150lb bow i would ask for authograph...

any archery store, ask if they have any at 80 to start with. and 90. dont think you get 90- 100, special order.
i pulled my buddy's 82, no other to try, but it was not comfortable

Во-первых, кто хвастается?

Во-вторых, случайно взятый с улицы мужик, если он не занимается физическим трудом и не качается в спортзале, хорошо если 100x8 сможет. Физическим трудом тут мало кто занимается, членства в спортзалах есть где-то у 15%, реально туда ходят единицы процентов, до штанги добираются еще реже.

Not yet, i dont think anyone willing to travel to try it.
But i really want to see someone drawing at least 90lb without previous experience.
again, i saw many well built adults who could not move the string on 70lb bow.
I went from 70 to 60 after rotator surgery, desided to stay at the weight because modern bows are efficient enough to kill anything in North America.
Usually around 100 shots per tranning session, so 9000lb in total.

Sergey, good luck, i hope you can do what you said.

To bownunt big game in Africa i believe one needs to pull 90# for males and 80# for females.

Я использую #70 Hoyt и Mathews постоянно, пробовал #80 в магазине но разницы особой не заметил. А более тяжёлых у них нет. Только спецзаказ за дорого.Кстати мой 70 никто из знакомых свободно натянуть не может, было потеряно десяток стрел при попытках, когда пытались тянуть и отпускали стрелу в небо.

It's a good prevention for dry fire..when I had 70# it was naturally " blocked".
With current 2 I have at 60#, they are more "pull able ".
Some are trying just to pick up and draw, so I actually made "non releasing" release if someone wants to try.
And ice pack ready(:-).
Out of curiosity I would try 90+. If I see someone with such bow. Last national competition in Redding I did not see any above 80, majority was using 60

I have access to Camp Pendleton range. It's empty on weekdays and maybe 1 or 2
shooters on weekdays morning. Range is ~ 100 yd long and there are 5 lines.
Also I'm member of Escondido Game and Fishing Association and I never see anybody at archery range. I can bring 2 quests there and we can use pistol, rifle and archery range. I didn't shoot on competition, most time I use 60-100 yd distance.

Any update on high poundage bow?
Results for 2012 state 900 rounds shoot were posted, took silver. Not bad for a start (:-).
