Re: The Internship and Job Opportunities for F1 in CPA Progr

Re: The Internship and Job Opportunities for F1 in CPA Progr
Call the program and ask point blank,
1) which Big 4 and regional accounting firms recruit from your programs via on-campus interview programs for internships and new hire jobs?
2) which of the firms who recruit on campus sponsor H1B visas.
3) if they primarily recruit BA/BS degree candidates, will you be allowed to participate in oncampus recruiting programs with them?
If #1 and #3 are not present, then this program will not open any real doors for you, it is probably a 'continuing education' program for professionals who already have a job in private industry (NOT public accounting) and simply need "korochku".
Consider as an alternative a regular bachelors degree at whatever school in LA that says yes to #1. I believe USC is one such destination but I might be wrong.
