Well, I'm here, for two weeks. Staying awake for now (first day).
What is worth seeing (except shopping malls) within walking distance from Fairmont Singapore ? Where it makes sense to go for the weekend (next weekend). From what I know so far - peeps here have a tendency to party through like 4AM (which is not very appealing to me for now, maybe because I'm jetlagged)
Any suggestions welcome!
Spasibo!

Re: Singapore...
Taxis in Singapore are cheap and MRT (metro) is excellent, do not confine yourself to just one area.Vоvan wrote: What is worth seeing (except shopping malls) within walking distance from Fairmont Singapore ? - Sentosa island
- Botanical Gardens
- The "historical" part of the city is really small
But Singapore is mostly about going out. Try
- Eat chili crab at East Coast Seafood Center
- Try durian (you may go to Geylang to get a best selection of durian and other fruits, just be aware that it is also a red-lights district)
- Go to the Clarke Quay in the evening
- We usually take our friends (who visit SG for the first time) to the "Orchard Towers" - there is a bunch of "shemale" nightclubs there
