First of all, excuse my choice of language.
Here's a question (request) for those who have employment based immigration experience of their own. The 2 known ways to do this are 1. adjustment of status (AOS) and 2. consular processing. The AOS procedure is more or less clear. As for consular processing I would like to know about some real experience with that. For example if you traveled from the U.S. to Russia how long did you need to stay there in order to have it all done and actually get the immigrant visa in your passport. Another important question is about police certificates and military records. How to get those in Russia?
As AOS is taking longer and longer, consular processing appears to be more attractive. Only if I knew how to get the goddamn police certificates after 9 years of wanderings abroad...
