Comments: The camera’s electronic viewfinder goes out after about 3,000 photos. Can not get Minolta to repair, they just sent it back with nothing done to the camera. This happened with two A1's both going down at about 3,000 photos. Because I had two cameras exhibit the same problem in about the same amount of time, probably all A1's will have the same problem. The problem most will not shoot the number of photos I do, and yours will go out after the warranty expires.

Don't know, I'm pretty sure I shot more then 3000 pictures and it still works fine. Maybe only some serial numbers affected. If you are very concerned about camera quality - buy it a Costco if in the US - unlimited satisfaction guarantee.
That's why I bought my A2 there, and glad I did - had to return it as many images were out of focus (known issue with some of them). The second one I got is perfect though - great sharp pictures out of the camera.
Just in case, make sure you are using the latest A1 firmware.

Анннету в costco минольт - ни А1, ни А2. Amazon сейчас предлагает неплохой варинт 670 с бесплатной доставкой.
А на счет out focus issue - это у обоих минольтовских камер такой баг?
