У меня вызывает сомнения только первый в списке - мне кажется надо не сокращать время CHL класса, а побольше наполнить его практическими занятиями. 700 и 299 - давно пора.

Вот это -- would allow adult concealed handgun licensees to protect themselves in buildings and facilities located on the campus of a public college or university. -- очень хорошо. Только школы бы ещё добавить, чтоб родители с CHL не разоружалис в машине.

По поводу длины практических занятий...в общем я за, а с другой стороны тем кто не стреляет регулярно это не поможет. Я бы предпочел чтобы в течении 10 часов всем вдалбливали 4 правила Купера и показывали безопасное обращение с оружием.

Полностью согласен. Если у студента остается в голове хоть что то полезное после класса, то это должны быть 4 правила Купера.

В эту пятницу (8 февр) неленивые ньюджерсийцы соберутся перед нашим областным капитолием в защиту 2А. Взял типа отгул, собираюсь присутствовать. Но просто постоять мне лично кажется мало. Поэтому нужна помощь зала - что написать крупными буквами на куске картона размером прибл. 1м^2?
"Пошли вы нах со своим ган контролом" по-русски - грубо, неконструктивно, к тому же некоторые не поймут.

В эту пятницу (8 февр) неленивые ньюджерсийцы соберутся перед нашим областным капитолием в защиту 2А. Взял типа отгул, собираюсь присутствовать...

Был на ралли. Ну че сказать... Погода была близкая к заднице - чуть больше нуля, 3 часа под дождем, на ветру. Народу было от тысячи до двух. НДж - один из самых говенных штатов в стране по части оружия у народа. Все выступающие говорили очень хорошо - т.е. при всей моей искренней поддержке 2-й поправки я заранее настрился суперкритично, но у десятка+ выступавших заметил только один глюк в логике/аргументации. Плюс мероприятия - неравнодушные люди получили еще одну возможность почувствовать, что они не одиноки. Минус (имхо) - парафраз нашего советского "наше дело правое, победа будет за нами" не сопровождался практич. никакими идеями как до нашей победы добраться.
Ну и о нашем, о здешнем - хочется передать еще один горячий привет нашим приветцким свиньям, которым "были б желуди, ведь я от них жирею". Буде они возьмут верх, то для нас мало чего изменится, нашим детям аукнется среднезаметно, но внуки точно будут чипованными овцами и баранами в гос-капиталистическом фашизме. Оружие у народа - это нечто большее чем возм-ть побабахать по тарелкам/оленям/бумаге. Это - индикатор кто для кого. Власть для нас или мы для власти.

Andrew Cuomo, who pushed the high-capacity clip ban through the Legislature, is made from a plastic filament similar to the type of material used to manufacture LEGO building blocks. It is also loaded with a large spring that helps to push rounds of ammo into the gun chamber.

The ammo magazine clip appears to be durable; Defense Distributed test-fired 86 rounds from a 30-round prototype last month, and the clip showed no signs of damage.

Summing this up, if you look at just who is proposing the gun control legislation, it is Democrats who tend to have worked their entire lives in the public sector and fed at the public trough. I shouldn't find this surprising as the hallmark of all of this type of legislation is the constraint on liberties and the bureaucratic minutiae that their implementation will entail. Is not that the ethos of the modern public service to a tee?
