Я предпочитаю продавать FTF только тем у кого разрешение на ношение есть.
Заполняем оба форму местную,где указываем адреса,номера лицензий оружейных и водительских,подписываем и разбегаемся.
Все.Моя задница прикрыта.

Сегодня протестировал жадность местного оружейного магазина.
Принёс на оценку мой RIA 1945 5” Tactical. Я покупал его за $420 менее года назад, декабрьская цена $450, а у них он продаётся за $600. Так вот они от своих щедрот оценили его в $200, причем мой самый пессимистический прогноз был $300.

Так что носить пистолеты к локальному дилеру не стоит совсем.

По поводу пересылки оружия. Очень умно.

I've shipped a lot of firearms to FFL's around the country over the last 10-12 years and have had everything from easygoing experiences to almost having SWAT team called in to the local UPS hub by employees who don't know jack about the laws or their own company policies. It used to be a lot easier than it is now, but it can still be fairly painless. The ladies at my local PO know me and have no problem shipping long guns for me so for anything worth less than $1k I use them. If it's something expensive I just don't trust the USPS's tracking system. I once had a set of Badger scope rings take 21 to get from MN to Rapid City, SD via Priority Mail with signature confirmation.

If it's valuable and needs to be insured and properly tracked, the easiest way to go is through UPS's web page. You can pay for it online and print the label out and just hand the package to any driver or schedule a pickup from your house, work, etc. Above a certain declared dollar amount, you'll have to get the driver to sign a form saying that the packaged is packed properly, etc - I like this because if something goes wrong I have someone else to point at. They do not look too closely and I've never had anyone want to open the package or anything like that, just a cursory glance at the box is the most I've ever seen a driver do. You are required by law to notify the carrier that the package contains a firearm so keep that I'm mind. Most drivers don't care. UPS and FedEx both have company policies about which of their shipping methods to use so read up on that. Next-day, 2nd day, etc with insurance can easily get you up around(or over) the $100 mark. UPS Ground works good for a lot of people and prices are pretty fair, even with insurance. Choose for yourself what it's worth.

Handguns are a pain in the ass no matter how you want to do it due to UPS/FedEx rules. Can't go USPS at all. I have had good luck with a local dealer shipping handguns for me as and FFL holder can ship them via Priority Mail so even if they charge you for the transfer, it is still likely to be MUCH cheaper than shipping it yourself through one of the contract carriers.

One piece of advice - If you are worried that the way you are shipping might run afoul of the law, call the local ATF office. I have spoke with them several times and they have always been pleasant and helpful. Honestly, all of the agents I've talked to always sounded like they were really bored and were happy to help me out just for something to do. They do not ask who you are, where you live, or anything like that, just tell them what you're doing and ask if it's ok. Call from a pay phone if it makes you feel better or use your buddy's cell phone when he's in the bathroom.

I realize that nobody really asked this question, but I read through the topic and thought I might be able to offer some info from my own experiences that someone might find useful.

Как я понял, что с ружьями мороки нет и можно пересылать через USPS по самомой низкой расценке. С пистолетами дешевле воспользоваться услугами FFL.
Завтра разузнаю какие расценки у моего FFL дилера на отсылку.

У моего FFL дилера, цена на отсылку пистолета, оформление и страховку равна $45.00. В принципе терпимо.

Решил навести порядок в сейфе и кое-чего продать чтобы кое-что купить.
Кто недавно продавал напомните по пересылке. Пистолеты лучше пересылать через FFL, а вот как насчёт пересылки ружей сейчас.
