It's a good prevention for dry fire..when I had 70# it was naturally " blocked".
With current 2 I have at 60#, they are more "pull able ".
Some are trying just to pick up and draw, so I actually made "non releasing" release if someone wants to try.
And ice pack ready(:-).
Out of curiosity I would try 90+. If I see someone with such bow. Last national competition in Redding I did not see any above 80, majority was using 60

I have access to Camp Pendleton range. It's empty on weekdays and maybe 1 or 2
shooters on weekdays morning. Range is ~ 100 yd long and there are 5 lines.
Also I'm member of Escondido Game and Fishing Association and I never see anybody at archery range. I can bring 2 quests there and we can use pistol, rifle and archery range. I didn't shoot on competition, most time I use 60-100 yd distance.

Results for 2012 state 900 rounds shoot were posted, took silver. Not bad for a start (:-).

то что пробивает соломенный куб ни о чем не говорит
вы бы сказали какой вес натяжения на нем( идете на сайт производителя лука, находите модель, смотрите регулировку веса, определяете опытным путем какой вес на вашем луке)
у меня лук настроен на 60 фунтов, можно подтянуть и до 70фунтов,(но у меня куча стрел которими можно стрелять из лука до 60 фунтов) так вот я из своего немогу пробить насквозь соломенный куб с 50 ярдов, может солома тверже

Usually on lower limbs or (limb)must be a label with weight and draw lenght. Some are adjustable for 15lb (martin), but usually its 10lb.
if known maker and mode and year, look on manufacturer website.
Draw lenght could be fixed or adjustable, depends on cams. Bring in to a pro shop if in doubt...
соломенный куб needs to be compressed to stop modern compound bow arrow.

Да не хрена он не останавливает. Я не парюсь насчёт силы и этого достаточно, охотники америкосы сказали что с него мишку на вылет я сделаю.

You just have not compressed the bale. Use straps, not hands. It stops 84lb, tested.

And yes, even 40lb will pass thru a bear lung area. Try on 300+ pig boar with natural body armor from fur and mad mixed and dried...and if shoulder blade is on the way. Doable, but you need 60+ lb, fast bow( мощный as you say), heavy arrow, and fixed, not mechanical broadhead.

not really, 18-1 cost around $90 with 1 year replacement guarantee ( done it). using their other cube (120$) over a year now, still alive, and I shoot a lot.
google bowhuntersupplystore they ship for .99 cents even those cubes.
overpentration can cost you more: lost or broken arrows, plus you could hit something or somebody you did not intend to hit.
record for arrow flight is 1.4 km, with a bow held with foot, or 500 m for normal bow

60 lb лук его насквозь не пробивает даже близко, единственная проблема - когда выдергиваешь стрелы, иногда наконечники застревают в обертке. Когда обертка настолько расстреляна, что не видно рисунка, можно ее снять и купить новую за $15.
