Development Engineer: Nanostructure Interface Technologies
Responsible for the development of commercially compatible technologies required for interfacing the unique capabilities of nanostructures to products. Candidate should have broad understanding of the effects of bulk and surface properties of particles on particle aggregation, adhesion, and manipulation, including hydrodynamic drag, sedimentation, diffusion, electrophoresis, dielectrophoresis, magnetism, ultrasound, zeta potential, Van der Waals forces, etc. Candidate must have hands-on experimental experience, understanding of non-aqueous/aqueous colloids and familiarity with surface chemistry characterization techniques. Candidate should have experience with industrial-scale manufacturing. Strong background in physics, chemistry/electrochemistry, and thermodynamics is highly desirable.
Experience and job requirements:
PhD in chemistry, physics, or electrical or chemical engineering (or equivalent)
5+ years relevant industrial experience
Good communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary team
Cleanroom and semiconductor industry experience desirable
