BTW Am I missing anything or the price tags on GC and even the cheapest MBA are not exactly comparable?

Mere mortals? From the sort of people I see coming on H1B I would not say many might hope for such success.

1. As we know most of IT is a no-brainer with low entry barriers. The sort of work implied by the MSFE curriculum seems to be more challenging and less easily commoditized. After years in the software rat race I feel like having something more resembling a profession.
2. I suspect I am not exactly cut for the business side. Since those quantitative people seem to form refined and sophisticated geekdom I might enjoy it as an area between business and technology.
