UCLA vs. USC

Where would you go as a undergrad(transfer) student to UCLA or USC (computer science major) if you were accepted to both? Please give reasons.

I thought that USC is much more expensive.

UCLA of course. Unless USC gives you a "full ride" -- but even then I'd think twice.

Other then money, what might be the other reasons? Because as far as I know USC and UCLA have the same raputation in CS major, ahd when it comes to grad school it is even better.

You must be kidding. In CS, UCLA is much stronger than USC. It's just no comparison, really. So, the only reason to go to USC is IF they give you a full (room, board, tuition) scholarship, AND you don't have money to pay for UCLA.

UCLA = University of Caucasians Lost among Asians.

And again these are just speculations. The way I got my information was this - US rates UCLA and USC almost equally ( 2 spots apart), alumies rate USC higher, they got help from university with their jobs, USC computing center is getting bigger and bigger and they have almost similar computational power as UCLA. And when it comes to grad school USC is rated higher by Us news then UCLA. UCLA is very famous for other things then USC, again as far as I know. Does anybody know some other FACTS or know any good resources where I could get the info from?

I went to USC (also known as University of Sexy/Spoiled Chicks)

However, I am not CS major. I loved this school! Great campus, great teachers, great experience overall. Go Trojans!!!

Вы хотите, чтобы вам сказали, что лучше в USC? Тогда об этом и просите. А то народ не понял, отвечает вам как есть. Давайте, я вам скажу: конечно, идите в USC. Хотя UCLA лучше по всем статьям.

Кстати, а что с вашим русским случилось? Год назад вы по-русски писали.

Nothing happened with my Russian it is still there, unfortunately I mostly work from work or school thus can't and don't want to use Russian, hopefully it doesn't bug anybody.
