А почему проще? Для живущих в Америке детальный советский учебник труднее найти. А в прошлой жизни мало кто из не специалистов серьезно интересовался историей США в СССР.

На историю США посмотреть с отличной от традиционной стороны думаю будет сейчас в Америке довольно интересно.

Спасибо за ссылку, поставил в мой wish list для прочтения.

I have noticed a lot of critics saying that this book neglects to mention America's achievments, that it is biased, liberal, radical, revisionist, communist..ect. А что вас в этом удивляет? Довольно неплохо написан, если пропускать главы про "рабочее движение" и не зыбыть полезное умение читать между строк. Анологичные по объему американские многотомники стоят больших денег.
