а наши девушки в балете... :-)

While the rest of the country was either watching the GOP debate or the Royals crush the Mets Wednesday night, 350 finance industry pros gathered in a banquet hall to hear an 11-year-old’s investing wisdom.

Yes, that’s right. Svetlana Russell, a sixth grader from Queens, N.Y., took to the podium at SIFMA Foundation’s annual tribute dinner last night. Russell is the New York winner of InvestWrite, a national essay competition for students who participate in the foundation’s Stock Market Game. The SIFMA Foundation is an educational nonprofit that aims to foster knowledge and an understanding of the financial markets. It is affiliated with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) but runs independently of it.

Наткнулся на интересный комментарий на Яху. как топ-менеджеры делают деньги. Коммент про конкретный сток, но применим в более широком масштабе. Какие нибудь замечания?

Lampert borrows money through AZO, gives himself big stock options which they buy from him and he walks off with free money. Of course, AZO has to fork over $1 billion in past debt in 2016. And, with the $4.7 blilion of debt, much of it subject to libor rate increases, his game might just about be over. This stock should be one of the all-time big collapses when the merry go round stops and he can't borrow anymore money and actually has to pay a ton of it back at higher rates. Nice game while it lasted. I wonder if the SEC would be interested in his enrichment program???
