не переносите никуда пока. Вопрос такой. Я пока не знаю, пытаюсь выяснить, есть ли у компании какие препятствия насчет самоубийств. ну, типа если самоубийство, выплачивают ли страховку. А у вас как? потому что типа самоубийцам не выплачивают ничего. хотелось бы узнать, как у вас на работе в этом плане.

Usually, this clause states that no death benefit will be paid if the insured commits suicide within two years of taking out a policy. Whenever an insured person replaces an existing life insurance policy with a new one, the time clock for the suicide clause is set back to zero and starts over again.

Ad&d вроде обычно не покрывает, life insurance - обычно да но как уже было сказано через два года. Надо читать plan. Никто ничего точно вам не скажет.

Да я не для себя спрашиваю. Типа бенчмаркинг. Фильм тут смотрела, там было сказано, что не покрывает. Я думала неправда.

One of the more standard yet alarming instances where a life insurance policy will not pay out is in the case of suicide. Depending on what state you live in, there will be a suicide clause, meaning if you commit suicide within that time frame, the beneficiary would only get the premiums back, but not the death benefit.
This suicide clause is actually an incontestability clause, that window of time where insurance companies can investigate and deny claims. The period is typically two years in most states and one year in others, and it begins as soon as the insurance policy goes into effect. For the life insurance company, it protects them from people who take out a large policy, then commit suicide for the “betterment” of their family’s financial situation. It seems like a bizarre and unbelievable act to most people, but it used to be more commonplace than you would think—before this incontestability “suicide clause” went into effect.

Обычно пару лет самоубийство не покрывается, после покрывается. Считается что те, кто желает решить семейные финансовые проблемы путем самоубиения и получения страховки, два года ждать не будут и вероятность их самоубийства через пару лет ничтожно мала.
