These courses are offered at the same time during the semester, which means it would take you one year to finish. Presently, these courses are full.
I do not forsee an opening in the near future."

New Mexico.

CGFNS International
December 17,2008
Attention CES applicants
Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) reports are issued electronically to U. S. State Boards of Nursing report recipients and are available only to the selected State Board of Nursing report recipients to review online for 12 months following the report issue date. CES reports that have been posted online for 12 months are then removed and no longer available to the State Board of Nursing recipients to review online. After 12 months, if a CES report is requested for the same State Board of Nursing report recipient, a Re-evaluation of a CES Report order must be submitted with the appropriate fee for another CES report to be issued electronically.

www.eres.com
Еhe basic fee of $325. All documents must be in English or have a certified English translation by U.S. translator. We can provide the translating service for a fee. If the translator is not certified in the U.S., we can verify the translation for a fee.
www.jsilny.com
U.S. $275.00 basic fee (it covers the evaluation of all academic credentials submitted with the application form.)
http://www.jsilny.com/html/foreign.htm#cost
www.ierf.org
Nursing Evaluation – $330 per application. This report identifies institutions attended, dates of attendance, credential(s) earned and the United States educational equivalent. An evaluation checklist, which identifies subject areas and U.S. semester unit values, is also included. It also lists individual courses taken and an overall grade point average (where applicable). A coursework evaluation checklist, which identifies areas of training is also included.

www.cgfns.org
We suggest you contact the organization (the recipient) that asked to receive your CES Report and find out which type of report they require.
• Credentials Evaluation Service (CES): Full Education Course-By-Course Report - $378.00
• Credentials Evaluation Service (CES): Healthcare Profession & Science Report - $328.00
• Credential Verification Service for New York State (CVS) Initial Application $350.00

New changes to licensure in the US
http://allnurses.com/international-nurs ... 01858.html
Например:
Job offer letters and visas
This is not news that many are going to want to see after waiting significant time for a visa. But the fact is that the facility is going to be required to provide an updated job offer letter before one goes for their interview at the US Embassy. And the employer is going to need to provide proof that they were unable to hire an American for the job. Many facilities are having hiring freezes as well as quite a few are even having lay-offs. If this is the case, they are not going to be able to provide a job for you, even if you have been waiting for several years.
Jobs need to go first to Americans, and this has never been so important as it is now. Please be aware that it is going to be almost impossible to get a loan for a car, or anything else if you do not already have significant credit history that you will be bringing with you. With the collapse of everything here right now, things have gotten very tight for all. And may no longer be what you had been expecting. And this is of most importance for those that were hired as new grads. American new grads are having issues finding jobs in many cities so it is going to be quite hard for an employer to prove that they could not get an American for the job.
I am just trying to be very honest with what is happening. And the fact that the letter of employment that was originally submitted by the employer was considered a job offer letter and not a promise of work. If they are unable to provide work for you when the interview is set to take place, then all gets cancelled out. No employer can make any promises now as things are changing drastically, even just with hospital administrations, etc.
Best of luck to all of you that are waiting.

The following information is very important to you as an International Student. It is designed to help you understand the non-immigrant International Student forms.
What is an F-1 student? An F-1 student is a nonimmigrant who is pursuing a “Full course of study” towards a specific educational or professional objective, at an academic institution in the United States. A student obtains F-1 status using Form I-20 issued by an approved school.
What is SEVIS? Student and Exchange visitor Information Systems (SEVIS) is an electronic system which provides tracking, monitoring, and access to current information on F, M and J nonimmigrant, SEVIS will require schools and program sponsors to transmit electronic information and event notifications via the Internet to the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration services (BCIS) and the Department of State throughout a student or exchange visitor’s stay in the United States.
Form I-20-B: Is The Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) student status for Academic and Language Students form 1-20 to present to your consulate/embassy when you request them to issue your Student Visa (F-1). Note: Student’s I-20 page three, must be signed by the International Student Advisor, prior to any travel outside the United States.
Passport: A passport valid for at least 6 months. Your passport must be kept current while you are in the United States. Request renewal from your consulate or Embassy at least six months prior to expiration.
Student Visa: To obtain an F-1 Student visa, a student needs to receive Form I-20 signed by the Designated School Official (DSO). If you are going to the U.S. for academic study, English-language instruction or vocational training and have never held an F1/M1 visa, you must apply by interview for your F1 or M1 visa. You must schedule an appointment by Visa Information Web Service at http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1268.html.
I-94 form; Arrival-Departure Record, this is the small, white card inserted in your passport near the U.S visa which indicates how long a nonimmigrant may remain in the United States.

California Board of Registered Nursing.
==========================================
You may contact our Director of Nursing for space availability in the nursing program regarding specific courses that the BRN has indicated you still need to complete.
When you are accepted and wish to attend our college, we will be happy to mail you an application packet for entry as an international student with F-1 visa status.
We require a completed application, a TOEFL score of 500, financial documents validating that you have a sponsor to pay your expenses while you are in the U.S., validation that you are at least 18 years of age (which I am sure you are), and transcripts validating your education.
What are your plans after you complete the courses? F-1 regulations are strict in that you must complete at least 2 semesters of school full-time prior to applying to work for one year in your major field.
Please be aware of these limitations. Thank you.
==========================================
At this time students are given permission to apply for Nursing classes if you have been accepting into the Nursing Program.
For information on how to apply into the Nursing Program please contact the Nursing Department.
Please make sure to contact them for the requirements needed in order to be accepted. You can also find information about the program on our school catalog.
You will also need to apply as an International Student at our college. Information on the admission requirements can be found on this website
We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2009 semester and the deadline is July 1, 2009.
Unfortunately, our college does not issue an I-20 for students who will only take 1 or 2 courses.
In order to be accepted and issued an I-20, students must attend the college for at least one academic year as a full time student.
==========================================
Our College Nursing Department and the Administration made a decision not to accept international students in the Nursing program.
At the same time, the college does not provide I-20s for students to take only a number of courses. The I-20 must be issued for a specific major.
In summary, if you are planning to pursue a program other than Nursing or EMT, we can proceed with your paperwork. I wish I can provide you with better feedback, and if I am missing anything, you are welcome to inquire in a more specific way.
I don't know what are the policies of other schools. Policies change all the time, so even if I did know a couple of years ago, it doesn't mean that it is still the same now. Good luck to you. I hope you can find a school that will help you with that.
==========================================
No, because our continuing students have priority registration. You would need to contact the Nursing Program for more information regarding the nursing classes and program. In addition, there is no part time program for International Students.
NO, you must comply with the International Student Admission Requirements before you can register for any class.
==========================================
If you are accepted to those nursing courses through our Nursing Program and have met the international student admission requirements, then yes an I-20 can be issued.
Please note students on an I-20 must register to and attend 12 units per semester. No exceptions.
==========================================
Unfortunately, we only issue I-20s for full time study.
==========================================
You're welcome to apply as an international student. However, it is extremely difficult to be accepted into our Nursing program, because spaces in the program are extremely limited. If you meet the Nursing program's minimum requirements for admission, you are entered into a lottery. If you are randomly selected in the lottery you can gain admission to the program. However, only 1 space per year is allocated to international students, so your chances of admission are not very good at all, and so we do not recommend that you apply.
You may want to consider applying instead to another of our programs of study.
You would have to enroll in a full-time course of study in order to maintain your Student Visa, were you to come here. We're really not in the practice you ask about, to be honest. The students we typically admit and enroll undertake a 1-2+ year program of study with us, of some sort. International students who are interested in taking only a few classes to, for example, satisfy prerequisites prior to transferring to a university in the local area, tend to be already in the U.S. on an F-1 Student Visa.

2nd semester

5 hours lecture each week and 18 hours of clinical each week for 18 weeks (9 weeks in
Pediatrics & 9 weeks in Obstetrics)
Obstetrics.
Nurs 236: Skills lab. 1 unit. 2 hours each week in the skills lab.
3rd semester
Nurs 255--Intermediate Med-Surg and Psychiatric Nursing. 11 units

NS 121, 32 hours
NS 121CL, 96 hours
NS 232, Psychiatric/Geriatric/Community Health Nursing (4 units)
NS 232, 36 hours
NS 232CL, 96 hours

Associate Degree in Nursing or BS in Nursing

Obstetrics: 81
Psychiatric: 54
